Bride’s name: Autumn Walker
Groom’s name: Edgar Tinajero
How they met: We met on a dating app called Bumble within one week of Autumn moving to Anchorage. We like to say we are a Bumble success story."
Number of guests: 55
Wedding colors: Sage and cream with pink accents
Unique and special aspects of the day: "Since Edgar’s dad is from Mexico, we decided to add in some fun elements like a Taco Bar, 'Cake Tacos' and a Pinata (which was full of tequila shooters). We also made our own cake topper, by dressing up two T-Rex figures as bride and groom."
Most memorable moment...
For her: "How fun it was to dance and celebrate with the people we love the most."
For him: "Autumn whipping out her guitar and serenading me while wearing a super cool leather jacket. It was a beautiful, touching moment on a wonderful day."
Funniest moment: "Breaking the pinata. A few of the shooters broke and then spritzed the DJ and some guests with tequila."
Three words that best describe their day: "Fun, (family or friends) and fiesta!”
If they had the chance to do it again, what they would do differently: "Put someone in charge of decorating the getaway car."
Best advice for a couple planning their wedding: "Before you do anything else, sit down with your partner and decide together what your top three priorities are for your wedding. There are a lot of moving parts to a wedding, so having this conversation early on helps focus your energy on what’s really important to you."
