On a blustery point overlooking Turnagain Arm, Victoria and Lynn exchanged their vows with an intimate summer solstice ceremony. Family members flew across the globe – from Italy, Australia and the Lower 48 – to celebrate the couple’s beautiful seaside nuptials. Incorporating a theme of art and love, and inspired by the Vincent Van Gogh quote “there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people,” Victoria and Lynn infused plenty of bespoke details into their day. The bride's original oil painting of Turnagain Arm was printed onto invitations, while venue paintings by the bride’s brother, Tom, decorated their day with personalized finesse. The newlyweds even exchanged rings that were designed by the bride’s brother, David, in Italy. Despite the “challenging wind” that greeted them at the scenic site for their “I dos,” what they will remember most is the ambience of their wedding day – “filled with beautiful surroundings, art, music, food, family and friends,” says Victoria.
